ON-SITE SERVICE
All of our on-site services are followed by rigorous management of your equipment. Each device is listed and assessed according to its general condition. We provide a certificate attesting to our service and a one-year warranty.
SERVICE AT SFM'S WORKSHOP
The repair of your equipment in our workshops is carried out on the basis of a prior estimate. We receive your equipment in our workshop for appraisal, and provide you with a detailed estimate as soon as possible.
Maintenance Procedures
OBSERVATION TUBES (binocular):
- Dismantling the unit (cover, etc.)
- Lens cleaning and inspection
- Cleaning and lubricating mechanical movements.
- Check inter-pupillary distances and optical path alignment: convergence, rotation with LNE-approved test pattern.
- Parfocality adjustment with LNE-approved test pattern.
STAND:
- Cleaning, control of focusing movements.
EYEPIECES:
- Cleaning of lenses (disassembly if possible) and reticles, lubrication of helical movement (depending on model).
LENSES:
- Cleaning of front and rear lenses.
LIGHTING:
- Clean lamp housing and check correct operation. Filament centering (depending on model).
FINAL INSPECTION WITH AN LNE-APPROVED TEST PATTERN
Removal of microscope components:
STAND:
- Cleaning, micrometric and macrometric movement control, field iris control (depending on model).
EYEPIECES:
- Cleaning of outer lenses and reticles, greasing of helical movement (depending on model).
LENSES:
- Cleaning of front and rear lenses.
PLATINE :
- Cleaning and control of X and Y movements.
CONDENSER
- Lens cleaning, field and aperture iris control, Koehler adjustment (depending on model)
LIGHTING:
- Clean lamp housing and optical assembly. Filament centering (depending on model).
ILLUMINATOR
- Cleaning and checking field and aperture diaphragms. Control of light shutters.
OBSERVATION TUBES
- Cleaning and checking of control knobs. Check inter-pupillary distances and optical path alignment.
FINAL INSPECTION WITH AN LNE-APPROVED TEST PATTERN
