Preventative Maintenance<\/h2>\n Just as you wipe your glasses, it's important to maintain and clean the optical path of your device. This prevents eye fatigue and extends the life of the device.<\/p>\n

An optical device consists of two optical paths that converge on a point on the sample you are observing. When you use your device, the lenses move. This slight movement is normal. Internal movements during use (change of magnification, pupillary distance, movement of the device, change of operator, etc.) eventually cause the optical path to go out of alignment.<\/p>\n
